Spinal decompression alternative?
My doctor thinks my lower back is just strained, but I feel it’s my nerves, since I experience tingling in my lower back when sitting, and some pain when I stand and lift my left leg out front.
Anyways, until my next appointment, I thought I might try these exercises to decompress my spine:

I know hanging is good, but I don’t have anywhere to hang from.
Back straining often pinches the sciatic nerve .
Any stretching you do to ‘uncurl’ the lower spinal curve often helps .
Pulling the shoulders forward while bending the knees and pulling the pelvis towards the knees help ,
As does laying on your side and curling into a fetal position
( which , again , uncurls the lower spine )
Use ice when you first have the tingling to reduce swelling and later , standing under a hot shower on the upper back will relax the muscles that are contracting from the pain .
Until that stainless steel spine is ready ( like the one spidermans enemy has , I think that was the movie anyway )
Humans will just have to do these motions to compensate for those lower spine problems .
good luck
